CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS OVERVIEW 2022-2026
2025-2026 Tentative Agreement Summary of Contract Changes:

Wages- 0% on schedule. $1000 off schedule for 2025-2026.

Health & Welfare Benefits continues at 100% employee only.

Work year reduced by one day starting next year

3 ½ “teacher work days” designated “unit-member directed.”

Elementary teachers get two more report card Wednesdays (T1 & T3)

All educators get the option to work remotely on Progress Report and Report Card Wednesdays (four total).

Board of Trustee presentations, music concerts, art exhibits outside regular hours = 2 hours hourly pay.

Art teachers get paid 2 hours hourly rate for extra Open House + 2 hrs prep.

BTSN and Open House time limits in contract (Open House reduced).

IEP, 504 or other meetings after school = up to 1-hour prorated hourly rate.
While we know that receiving 0% on-schedule salary increase is very disappointing, we are pleased to have negotiated a continuation of health & welfare benefits, $1000 one-time money, a reduction in work year by one day, and focused our efforts to support teacher-time. As a union we must look to the near future, unite and collaborate with our district, and engage with our community to help pass the parcel tax. Our students and school depend on it.
2024-2025 Summary of Contract Changes:

Wages- 1.3% on schedule. $500 off schedule for 2024-2025.

Health & Welfare Benefits continues at 100% employee only.

Elementary school staff meetings on Wednesdays will begin thirty minutes after dismissal bell, and not exceed two hours in duration.

Middle school staff meetings on Wednesdays will begin twenty-five minutes after dismissal bell, and not exceed two hours in duration, and end no later than 4:45pm.

For district-wide grade-level meetings members will be released by 4:30pm.

On teacher directed collaboration days, and report card prep days, members may leave campus by 4:00pm.
2023-2024 Summary of Contract Changes:

Wages- $2000 increase in each 'cell' on the salary schedule. $500 off schedule of 23-24.
